Cyber Optics is a 32x resource pack that has support for connected textures (CTM) built right into the pack. This means the pack will look significantly better if you have CTM installed, but it will still render just fine even without the improved, smoothed textures. There are custom animations for the blocks and items too, so a lot of work was put into this pack. The only bad thing is that the pack hasn’t been updated officially in a long time – almost a year ago now – so it absolutely won’t work with the latest version of Minecraft, which would be 1.11.
Despite the lack of any recent updates, the Cyber Optics resource pack is a fully finished pack with the great majority of Minecraft’s vanilla textures replaced by things that look to be from outer space. If you’re looking for something futuristic or in the science fiction vein, then you’ll probably really like this one. Some of the textures will look kind of flat, which seems out of place in a pack which is supposed to have a higher resolution than normal Minecraft. There are plenty of them though, especially the varieties of stone blocks and bricks, as well as the three igneous rocks types.
Many of these simple, basic textures from vanilla Minecraft are replaced with brighter, bolder colors and shades to give the appearance of bright lights spread throughout the texture pool. This is kind of strange when you’re looking at biological stuff, like sugar canes or other crops, because they appear to be food items from another world, or perhaps another universe entirely. If you’re looking for a pack that changes the appearance of everything, Cyber Optics might satisfy you.
