KoP Photo Realism Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.11.2

It’s difficult to get a strong sense of realism from most Minecraft resource packs, but there are a handful which manage to do the job. The KoP Photo Realism resource pack is one of the few that succeed in making Minecraft look as beautiful as possible, but that big boost in visuals and performance comes with a cost attached. There are some weaker versions of KoP Photo Realism, in 64x, 128x and 256x resolution, but the top-end pack comes in 512x and really pushes Minecraft to the limit in terms of the kinds of graphics the game can render.

The KoP Photo Realism resource pack is also compatible with many different versions of Minecraft, so lots of players are able to use it. It works with versions from 1.8 all the way up to 1.11, including 1.11.2, that recent Christmas update that made a few small changes, like adding rocket-powered elytra flight to the game. This resource pack should be compatible with any mods you’re using as well, as long as all of those are also in line with the Minecraft game version you’re selected. As for the visuals, they’re some of the best this reviewer has seen in a while.

You will notice many new layers to the same old textures. These allow for startling 3D effects, making blocks and other surfaces look like they’re pitted, or cracked, or broken in places, to make them appear more realistic. Lighting effects are more dynamic, and even little details like the needles on the cactus are not forgotten in KoP Photo Realism. Those desert plants look more menacing than ever, jagged and spiny. If your machine can handle the added strain from this resource pack, it’s certainly a direct upgrade over standard Minecraft graphics.

Installation Guide for KoP Photo Realism Resource Pack

This tutorial will show you how easy it is to download and install KoP Photo Realism Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.11/1.10.2/1.9.4. For resource packs that are higher resolution of 64×64 pixels, you will have to download and install Optifine HD Mod or MCPatcher HD Fix to render successful all HD textures. Also, this guide will work on all versions of Minecraft.

• Setup 1: Download the texture pack/resource pack from below link/s.
• Setup 2: Open Minecraft and go to Options -> Resource Packs -> “Open resource pack folder”.
• Setup 3: A window will open with the folder “resourcepacks” from .minecraft directory.
• Setup 4: Move the zip file that you just downloaded in resourcepacks folder.
• Setup 5: Now you should see the pack in “Available Resource Packs” list.
