LukyLukaz is the author behind Luky’s RPG Pack, a resource pack for Minecraft that brings a moody atmosphere to everyone’s favorite block-based game. The 16x resolution is low enough that anyone who can play the game normally should be able to play it with the same FPS and performance when this pack is also installed. A man named Andre Jolicoeur created the baseline textures for this pack and since the author thanks him, it seems fitting to put his name here too. Both of them worked together to create this set of textures and their collaboration made something great.
While Luky’s RPG resource pack is a totally finished project, it is not compatible with the latest version of Minecraft, which is 1.11. It works fine with all 1.8.x versions of the game. There may be some updates planned for this pack, but since nobody has heard a thing from the author for the last ten months (mid March now) it might be a little safer to assume this project isn’t getting touched again. So, if you’re loving the new combat update and stuck on 1.9, you’re not going to be able to use Luky’s RPG Resource Pack when playing.
If you use a lot of mods that are still waiting for updates to be compatible with 1.11 and 1.10.2 though, this would be a great fit for all the other Minecraft content you’ve collected. The environment is overwhelmingly dark in this pack, so you’ll want to make sure to pack plenty of extra torches, or at least sticks and coal, while you’re out looking for resources, hunting monsters or building your constructs. Be sure to leave your spawners dark if you build any – they won’t spawn mobs otherwise.
